Enveloped in Color and Art

The Sky;s the Limit by Michael Hayden
This underground walkway  at Chicago Airport connecting Concourse B to C envelopes passengers in a mile-long kinetic light sculpture composed of 466 neon tubes and 23,600 square feet of mirror over head.  It was so enjoyable I was glad that I had time to walk slowly.  This week's Daily Post Photo Challenge.

Ojo de Dios - God's Eye

My first attempts at Ojo de Dios also known as a God's Eye.  Overall I'm pleased with the final art piece.  Though it's crazy big (four foot), and I snapped a stick getting it into the car.  It glued well, so not a tragedy, but at the time I was not so calm.  In the future I would like more contrast and variety of colours, and a bit more complexity, but overall it makes me smile.  Click to see my second and third art pieces.  Much smaller.
